5 Projects at Malagakit Elementary School

JCI SMART Program

JCI SMART Scholarship for Malagakit and Research for Transformation Program was awarded to 30 pupils of Malagakit Elementary School for the SY 2016-2017. Project chair Mariano Jr Detanoy Tenizoinitiated the project to help his alma mater and his beloved hometown Brgy. Malagakit, Pigcawayan, North Cotabato who were victims during the 2015 Christmas Eve attacked by the outlawed Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Fighter (BIFF), wherein 9 civilians and 4 rebels died. PAVP Gurlie Frondoza briefly explained to all the parents and guardians the guidelines of the scholarship. Lastly, signing of our MOA for the JCI SMART Program.

JCI SMART Kids: Balik Eskwela

JCI SMART Program Scholars dubbed as the JCI SMART KIDS, were also the beneficiaries for the balik eskwela project of VP Ann Tenizo. Aside from the awarding of certificate of scholarship for SY 2016-2017 and a new set of school supplies was also given to our deserving 30 JCI SMART KIDS.

Date with the Kids

"Date with the Kids" is an activity of fun and games to make the event more memorable and the experience worthwhile at Malagakit Elementary School. Some of the activities were singing and dancing of the famous children's rhyme "Ang Tatlong Bibi" headed by Biboy who is a preschooler, played the boat is sinking, balloon relay and a lot more. Loot-bags of goodies, school supplies, and a pair of slippers were also given as prizes afterwards. Thanks to our Project chair/game-master VP Karen Ampatuan

Handog sa Kabataan: Kalinisan at Kalusugan

Handog sa Kabataan: Kalinisan at Kalusugan Part 4 is in partnership with DOH-ARMM, National Nutrition Council ARMM, & DepEd-ARMM provided hygiene kits for distribution at Malagakit Elementary School. Each kit has face towel, toothbrush, toothpaste, bath soap, shampoo, & detergent soap.

Our Daily Bread Project

July 1, 2016 / 9:00AM / Malagakit Elementary School, Pigcawayan, North Cotabato


Our Daily Bread Project is a series of feeding activity that we intended to tap in most of our major programs and projects, held at Malagakit Elementary School. We were able to provide the pupils, 200 ensaymadas and juice as their snacks and chicken arrozcaldo for lunch. Thank you to our food committee, our very own gentlemen PP Ming Yap, PP Archee D. Aguila,Mclloyd Jeb Presas, & Mariano Jr Detanoy Tenizofor supervising the activity. Our hardworking and selfless Photojournalist/PRO Chris Sodusta Gonzales who always make sure to capture every moments.
